Jesus, Savior, pilot me. Listen online...

...

  • Jesus, Savior, pilot me
    Over life’s tempestuous sea;
    Unknown waves before me roll,
    Hiding rock and treacherous shoal.
    Chart and compass come from Thee;
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

  • While th’Apostles’ fragile bark
    Struggled with the billows dark,
    On the stormy Galilee,
    Thou didst walk upon the sea;
    And when they beheld Thy form,
    Safe they glided through the storm.

  • Though the sea be smooth and bright,
    Sparkling with the stars of night,
    And my ship’s path be ablaze
    With the light of halcyon days,
    Still I know my need of Thee;
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

  • When the darkling heavens frown,
    And the wrathful winds come down,
    And the fierce waves, tossed on high,
    Lash themselves against the sky,
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me,
    Over life’s tempestuous sea.

  • As a mother stills her child,
    Thou canst hush the ocean wild;
    Boisterous waves obey Thy will,
    When Thou sayest to them, “Be still!”
    Wondrous Sovereign of the sea,
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

  • When at last I near the shore,
    And the fearful breakers roar
    ’Twixt me and the peaceful rest,
    Then, while leaning on Thy breast,
    May I hear Thee say to me,
    “Fear not, I will pilot thee.”

He Chose Me. Listen online...

...

  • He chose me
    Before the world was known
    He chose me
    To be His very own, He made me
    Then let me choose my way
    I chose to move away
    He loved me
    When hope had taken wing
    He loved me
    When I lost ev'rything
    He brought me
    Redemption's work was done
    Through Jesus Christ His Son

  • Who shall separate me
    From the love of God
    Shall dreams of tomorrow
    Pain or sorrow
    Can the need of food
    Of earthly possessions
    The threat of war or man's oppression
    In all these things
    Vict'ry is our reward
    Vict'ry is our reward
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord

  • Of this I am sure
    That neither death nor life
    Nor angels, nor principalities
    Nor powers
    Nor things present, nor things to come
    Nor height nor depth nor any creature
    Shall separate me
    From the love of God
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord

I stand amazed. Listen online...

...
  • I stand amazed in the presence
    of Jesus the Nazarene,
    and wonder how he could love me,
    a sinner, condemned, unclean.

  • How marvelous! How wonderful!
    And my song shall ever be:
    How marvelous! How wonderful
    is my Savior's love for me!

  • For me it was in the garden
    he prayed: "Not my will, but thine."
    He had no tears for his own griefs,
    but sweat-drops of blood for mine.

  • In pity angels beheld him,
    and came from the world of light
    to comfort him in the sorrows
    he bore for my soul that night.

  • He took my sins and my sorrows,
    he made them his very own;
    he bore the burden to Calvary,
    and suffered and died alone.

  • When with the ransomed in glory
    his face I at last shall see,
    'twill be my joy through the ages
    to sing of his love for me.

    Metuselah was a witness for my Lord
    Metuselah was a witness for my Lord
    Metuselah was a witness for my Lord

  • You read in the Bible and you understand
    Samson was the strongest man
    Samson went out at-a one time
    And he killed about a thousand of the Philistine
    Delilah fooled Samson, this-a we know
    For the Holy Bible tells us so
    She saved off his head just as clean as your hand
    And his strength became the same as any natural man

  • O, Samson was a witness for my Lord
    Samson was a witness for my Lord
    Samson was a witness for my Lord
    Samson was a witness for my Lord

  • Daniel was a Hebrew child
    He went to pray his God a-while
    The king at once for Daniel did send
    And he put him right down in the lion's den
    God snt His angels the lion-a for to keep
    And Daniel laid down and went to sleep

  • Now, Daniel was a witness for my Lord
    Daniel was a witness for my Lord
    Daniel was a witness for my Lord
    Daniel was a witness for my Lord

  • O, who'll be a witness for my Lord
    Who'll be a witness for my Lord
    My soul is a witness for my Lord
    My soul is a witness for my Lord

O Sacred Head, Now Wounded. Listen online...

...

  • O sacred Head, now wounded,
    With grief and shame weighed down,
    Now scornfully surrounded
    With thorns, Thine only crown;
    O sacred Head, what glory,
    What bliss, till now was Thine!
    Yet, though despised and gory,
    I joy to call Thee mine.

  • Men mock and taunt and jeer Thee,
    Thou noble countenance,
    Though mighty worlds shall fear Thee
    And flee before Thy glance.
    How art thou pale with anguish,
    With sore abuse and scorn!
    How doth Thy visage languish
    That once was bright as morn!

  • My burden in Thy Passion,
    What [Lord], Thou hast borne for me,
    For it was my transgression
    Which brought this woe on Thee.
    I cast me down before Thee,
    Wrath were my rightful lot;
    Have mercy, I implore Thee;
    Redeemer, spurn me not!

  • What language shall I borrow
    To thank Thee, dearest friend,
    For this Thy dying sorrow,
    Thy pity without end?
    O make me Thine forever,
    And should I fainting be,
    Lord, let me never, never
    Outlive my love for Thee.

  • What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered,
    Was all for sinners’ gain;
    Mine, mine was the transgression,
    But Thine the deadly pain.
    Lo, here I fall, my Savior!
    ’Tis I deserve Thy place;
    Look on me with Thy favor,
    Vouchsafe to me Thy grace.

  • Now from Thy cheeks has vanished
    Their color once so fair;
    From Thy red lips is banished
    The splendor that was there.
    Grim death, with cruel rigor,
    Hath robbed Thee of Thy life;
    Thus Thou hast lost Thy vigor,
    Thy strength in this sad strife.

  • My Shepherd, now receive me;
    My Guardian, own me Thine.
    Great blessings Thou didst give me,
    O source of gifts divine.
    Thy lips have often fed me
    With words of truth and love;
    Thy Spirit oft hath led me
    To heavenly joys above.

  • Here I will stand beside Thee,
    From Thee I will not part;
    O Savior, do not chide me!
    When breaks Thy loving heart,
    When soul and body languish
    In death’s cold, cruel grasp,
    Then, in Thy deepest anguish,
    Thee in mine arms I’ll clasp.

  • The joy can never be spoken,
    Above all joys beside,
    When in Thy body broken
    I thus with safety hide.
    O Lord of Life, desiring
    Thy glory now to see,
    1Beside Thy cross expiring,
    I’d breathe my soul to Thee.

  • My Savior, be Thou near me
    When death is at my door;
    Then let Thy presence cheer me,
    Forsake me nevermore!
    When soul and body languish,
    Oh, leave me not alone,
    But take away mine anguish
    By virtue of Thine own!

  • Be Thou my consolation,
    My shield when I must die;
    Remind me of Thy passion
    When my last hour draws nigh.
    Mine eyes shall then behold Thee,
    Upon Thy cross shall dwell,
    My heart by faith enfolds Thee.
    Who dieth thus dies well.

    Emmanuel Shall come to thee,
    O Israel.

  • O come, O come, Thou Lord of might,
    Who to Thy tribes, on Sinai's height,
    In ancient times did'st give the Law,
    In cloud, and majesty and awe.
    Rejoice! Rejoice!
    Emmanuel Shall come to thee,
    O Israel.
